Interclub Challange

Postby Ant » Sun Mar 24, 2013 6:28 pm

Well the interclub has been run and won. The trophy still remains in it's rightful place in the Clarence Valley. *)* *)* *)* *)* *)* *)* *)* *)*
In total 22 teams fished which is excellent. The Richmond crew showed great sportsmanship despite the outcome and I was proud to be associated with the Interclub Challange. The friendlyness shown by all who fished showed to me what it's all about.
You couldn't have asked for a better day as the weather was just about perfect and the bream were in fairly good numbers.
I'm sure Squidgey will have a thousand and one excuses why they didn't win, next time it's on the Richmond so there will be no excuses.
We all look forward to then.

Ant,

Thanks heaps for hosting the event, it was a great comp
even though the Clarence fishos won on the day.

Scrote thanks heaps also for putting us up for the night
and not paying out on me too much for my lack of
trailor backing skills.

The best time during the comp for me was with one hour to go
at mid day with Prof and myself having only four legal fish in the
livewell. We noticed some prawns skipping in close to a bank
so went over to investigate. Prof tied on a Dogx Jnr copy and in
15 minutes we had our bag plus a couple of upgrades, you did well
Prof. :fishing: :fish:

Nip. : winky:

Yeah thanks Ant for hosting such a good event   , but i'm sure we'll get the trophy back next time !! ::)) ::))

Thank you to Scrote for putting up with me and Nipper crashing at your place  , was good to catch up for a few beers. :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink:

Also thanks Nipper for your keen eye spotting those prawns skipping the surface, otherwise I don't think I would have had a legal fish to add to the bag, :/: was great fun to get upgrades and surface action in the middle of the day !! :funfish: :funfish:

The lure I was using was a Saku snoop dos in the pearl shrimp colour!! :fish:

Overall it was a great comp, great bunch of guys on both sides , looking forward to the next one for sure!! :fishing: :fishing:

Cheers :glug: :glug: :glug:
