Getting back into the Fishing Scene
Posted: Tue Nov 29, 2016 4:11 pmJust went bought a boat with my Son, a 4.35 Sea Jay with an Injected 40HP Tohatsu on the back to get into some outside fishing. Been fishing the Tweed River for years in our smaller Tinnie, but going to venture off shore on calm mornings (not too far) in this one.
Any Tips on crossing the Tweed Bar other than doing it on an incoming Tide? It's been over 20 years since I've done any outside fishing (which was off the Sydney Coast, so any advice about Tweed would be appreciated?
