Just came across your great site and had to join and have been enjoying living in the clarence after relocating from the Nambucca/Macleay valleys.I have found the clarence to fish similiar to the macleay and have had some great sessions already.
Looking towards learning a bit through everyones posts and maybe meeting up with a few like-minded anglers..........always got a spare seat in the boat.....if anyone,s keen

I have yet to fish the Macleay, I was going to fish the upper reaches on my honeymoon a couple of years ago but it pissed down all week!!

I'll get back down there one day ??

Max,will keep a eye out for you mate.i got a black quinnie topender with more decals than a grommets surfboard.
Professor,the upper macleay is a magic place but guessing if you visited the lodge for your honeymoon,you probably didn,t get to wet a .....um,i mean get a fish in.Just a little further out there is a little spot called Georges creek,its got a good little camping area and some great fishing very close by if you ever visit again.
