G'day from Lennox

Postby MRP » Wed Sep 05, 2012 7:06 pm

Hi, i'm Matt from Lennox Head, we moved here 2 years ago and since then i've become a keen fisherman, used to fish a bit on the Sunshine Coast but lately i've bought myself a couple of new rods and have been getting into it quite a bit catching plenty of flathead and bream and lately trying to catch a jewie (got my first one last Sunday at 4:10 am); look forward to reading some good stories and possibly getting some good advice.

There's alot of good places to fish around Lennox,
sounds like you've already found alot of 'em.

Have a look around Broken Head if you haven't already.

MRP,

Certainly spend some time investigating boulders beach
(and on the platform to the southern side of the peg for blackfish). :fish:
Boulders is generally fishing well when you see a few cars parked on
the side of the coast road on dusk just like Lennox Head carpark is packed
when there's good waves... : jumping laugh:
