Good Fishing Spots

Postby Freckles45 » Mon Jun 29, 2015 4:32 pm

Hi All,

I am new to the website.
We have a 15 year old boy who LOVES fishing and a has a 3.3m tinnie. We would like to go somewhere (warmer than Canberra) in the 3rd week of July fishing. We would prefer the coastal areas as I think they will be warmer than inland.
Can anyone please point me in the right direction as to where we are likely to a. catch a fish, and b. where we could safely put our little tinny in to catch the fish.
Cheers

welcome freckles
my choice would be the clarence river system as it provides lots of different options for a vessel of that size ... im guesing u are holidaying and the camping grounds are excellent and most close to river access etc

on the yamba side (southern) there are plenty of options available with safe places to escape the wind etc
its a short run across the main river to access even more safe areas suitable for a vessel of your size in the iluka area..

scrote may be aable to point u in the right direction from here..

have fun ,,
