A Few Good Tings

Postby pink nipper » Tue Jan 14, 2014 2:03 pm

Got out for my first fish of the year
this morning for a surface sesh. After XMas +
New Year, school holidays and tourists in town
it was good just to get out. :funfish:

With an overcast sky and a morning high tide the Richmond
turned on some summer surface action. The hits were solid
from the bream and whiting on both walkers and poppers.
If there was a better lure on the day it was a Scizz pop but it
didn't seem to matter what lure was tied on today. :fish:

A few mid thirties whiting were kept for a family feed with all
other fish released. Fingers crossed the rain holds off
and the surface action continues. :fishing:

Nip. : winky:
