Hey mate I got some bloody big Koi carp in my local creek i want to get into, so whats the best method ??

It's up the top end of Emigrant creek, I reckon there must be at least a dozen or so!!

If I have that weekend free I'd be keen!!

Very lightly waited, suicide hooks up to size 1 works well. They may be pests, but beleive it or not they'll still give you a run when you hook onto one, so dont use your best gear. Make up a burley mix of wet bread crumbs with mashed up tinned corn and you'll stir them up.
If I'm free that weekend mate I'll come out, I dont mind getting into them from time to time when not much else is on the bite. Always a good feeling to throw a couple out of the system.

Has anyone used fresh carp carcass as crab pot bait?
Could be a good use for these introduced pests.

Hey nipper we use carp for crab bait down here its the best thing for blue swimmers it should work well on mud crab to i think
