Hey mate I got some bloody big Koi carp in my local creek i want to get into, so whats the best method ?? :think: :think:

It's up the top end of Emigrant creek, I reckon there must be at least a dozen or so!! >>: >>: >>:

Very lightly waited, suicide hooks up to size 1 works well. They may be pests, but beleive it or not they'll still give you a run when you hook onto one, so dont use your best gear. Make up a burley mix of wet bread crumbs with mashed up tinned corn and you'll stir them up.
If I'm free that weekend mate I'll come out, I dont mind getting into them from time to time when not much else is on the bite. Always a good feeling to throw a couple out of the system. <:

Has anyone used fresh carp carcass as crab pot bait?
Could be a good use for these introduced pests. :idiot:

Hey nipper we use carp for crab bait down here its the best thing for blue swimmers it should work well on mud crab to i think :think: :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:
