hi guys Im new to this forum and just wandering what do use reckon the best value for money battery is for a electric and rough price if use can

Gidday Blanchy,

Always best to use a good quality deep cycle battery of at least 100 amp hours.

You can use a calcium or lead acid or battery, but the one I've been using for the past 6 years is a absorbed glass mat battery or AGM for short.

There are may battery brands just get a reputable one, that way you'll have a good warranty.

Here's a pic of the one I have been using. I paid $220.

thanks prof very helpful ill have a look around for them or similar how long do they last with constant use

You'll get a good 6 hours , but if you run it flat out non stop probably only about 2-3. Cheers.
