Just back from th Gorge, only 3 hrs from here but so remote with th last 8 ks takn 1 hr ,not th place to break a limb or get snake bitten. We stayed in a cabin on home valley Station which was great .I put th yak in first day & headed upstream towards the junction with th Mann river but not much water depth up that way & only boated one small bass, next day walked down to th Gorge & every hole had fish & when they got spooked just had to move on to th next hole & in to them again. The biggest fish was 50cm with a lot in th 40s & great fun in th fast water. Most fish were caught on Squidgy wriggler but one of Scotts (Scizz tackle) hardbodies being th standout ,great to cast & good hardware this lure & wont break th bank (I never have & never will buy expensive lures)
