5hp parsun electric motor

not happy jan, this motor cost over $2000- and dosnt go as hard as an 80lb transom mount, have found that it is short sharft so that propellar is level with bottom of boat, may account for cavation sound when in full power, talking to dealer is like dealing with someone on crack, the motor goes well , so a motor will soon be for sale, better to sell for a huge loss than attack it with an axe,

Put a drop mount on your transom , should fix the problem. It would go well on my canoe , but wouldn't be able to afford it at the moment. Cheers.
